Nearing completion

In October and November the kitchen units, appliances and tiles were fitted. Steve sent us photos.

The licence for drilling the borehole was obtained at the beginning of October, and a couple of weeks later the men came to drill. They chose a spot near the bottom boundary wall. They expected to have to go down about 150 metres to find water, judging from the depth of Steve's borehole below. After 3 days they had gone down well over 200 metres, and found no water, only mud, so they decided to drill in another spot, as far as possible from the first hole, and moved up to the top of the plot by the gate. There they drilled down to 240 metres again. Still no water! There was plenty of dust, though, which got onto every surface on the whole site. Who pays for all that fuel they used, and for their time?
